Sean and Marisa live in Leander, Texas with their three dogs, Bonnie, Belle, and Shadow. They are adventurous and love extreme sports. Their passions are travelling, wakeboarding, and rock climbing. They enjoy exploring the world together and sometimes apart. Sean and Marisa also enjoy hiking around central Texas and finding new trails to go on.
If there is one word to describe Marisa, it would be "creative". Marisa works as a jeweler at a custom jewelry shop in Austin, Texas. She enjoys working with the torch to transform wax into metal in the casting process. Outside of work, she further pursues her creative ability in sewing projects as well as many other crafty projects. She has even made a few guest appearances on Uncommon Threads showcasing her skills.
Marisa has travelled the world over, many times on solo trips, living out of a backpack for weeks on end, eating street food and regional dishes, practicing various languages, and meeting the locals. She has a curious spirit and loves to learn about different cultures, the histories, as well as take in the beauty of the nature wherever she goes.
Sean may not be as creative as Marisa, but he still manages to do so in his own way as an electrical engineer creating computer chip designs for ARM. At night he prefers to spend his time feeding his online gaming addiction playing World of Warcraft alongside millions of others worldwide. On the weekends work and games take a back seat to outdoor life with wakeboarding and wakeskating being his current addictions. He's also been known to race his car from time to time and has twice traveled off to Great Britain to see the pros rally their cars in the forests of Wales.
